Since 2018, Finnish Meteorological Institute has been a proud new members of the Finnish Centre of Excellence in Inverse Modeling and Imaging.
The Centre of Excellence works with new theory, applications, and methodology. At Finnish Meteorological Institute we develop new methods and techniques for Kalman filtering, statistical inverse problems and uncertainty quantification. The practical applications include atmospheric inverse modeling, remote sensing, and climate and weather model applications.
